Won't decorate my love
sometimes you sit in your room with a quiet song playing in your headphones and you start to look at all the things tacked up on your wall and every letter anyone has ever mailed you and then you notice how warm the light is while it swallows the room whole. and all of a sudden you know that no matter what, this is where you want to be. even if someone you love is somewhere's else, even if there are a thousand broken things you're wishing you could fix, you know that this is it. that in this moment, this is happiness. and it won't last long, so you have to enjoy it.

It's sort of sad how somebody can mean so much to you even after you've become insignificant in their lives, isn't it?
How you can still need them, but they probably never actually needed you?
